More memory. 16mb as opposed to 8mb. The IIIC works just fine but you will be able to tell the difference in performance. I have a IIIC but it needs a batter if anyone wants it for free. I have 2-Zire71s just in case one goes out I have a backup.

I use the IIIc.  Got it of ebay for 20 bucks.  Works fine, plenty of memory.  I can log for about ann hour or more straight with no issues.  The battery life on mine is excellent, probably 2hrs on a full charge.

Ok. I've got a brand new sync cable, the original sync cradle w/cable and if you need, a brand new null modem because I am assuming you'll be using a Megasquirt setup.

Cover the shipping cost and the null modem, you can everything for $15. Sound fair?

I'm getting tired of using Paypal because of damn fees. But since this is not a huge $$ amount, I'll do it anyhow for you man. LOL!!!

I was thinking you meant the cable to connect the laptop to the MS ( thats what Tony included with the MS)

Yea. I got it last year, it charged up fine and ran fine on the battery. Then I had not used it for over a year and went and charged it up over night and checked it out and it would not power on whether on the cradle or off.

Edit: I was just messing with it again now and I got it to come on fine. I had reset it before but it didn't power on. I did it again and now it comes on and is currenty charging up. Hmmm, weird. Oh well, my loss your gain I guess.

Yes. The null modem you need. I didn't get one with Tony's setup either. So I ordered several of them.
