FMU question

The microsquirt is basically a MSII V 3.0 Megasquirt shrunk down to SMD to save on space and put in a water tight case with a AMP seal connector so there is no difference in the two besides the component type and the Micro dosent have PWM for low ohm injectors they both use the same firmware (MSII) so whatever you can do on the micro you can do on the Megasquirt the Megasquirt is geared more toward the DIY type who wants to add the extra options to the board theirselves for different applications whereas the micro was geared toward to Bike guys with carbs who wanted a EFI, watertight case, and small foot print.

Not to go into this here, but since I got your attention Tony, I will be buying my MicroSquirt soon.  My Stage II Turbo will either sell on eBay in less than 2 days or a list of people willing to PayPal me a deposit if it doesn't sell.  So I will be relying on you and Matt for my questions...  I am very excited about working with a new system!!!!!

You can ask PINKY, I LOVE trying new shit and as soon as I master it I want to learn a completely new set-up.  I don't even complete something before I start planning my next build.   

Oh yeah and Seb. from NLR is building me a custom system with a GT35 and a RCC Ulra Plenum.  The MicroSquirt will be the piggyback for that set-up!!!

Yeah i will help you out any way i can with your setup tunning and setup wise im not real familiar with the uS but between Matt and me im sure it will be a breeze.

Seb does fantastic work so im sure it will be a work of art and Richard does fantastic work also and a super great guy to deal with so i think your in very good hands there!! Im sure it will be a screamer for sure.

Oh yeah on the FMU if i had to use one it would probably be the Begi or the Vortech but thats just from my experience i have had with them witch is not been that great i usually take them off and put secondaries on but if tunned right they can be reliable to a point.

I knew it would be a great piggyback when I took a closer look at it!!!!

PINKY actually was on me day after figgin' day, he basically beat the MegaSquirt into my head. It's all his fault.

Once MS starts to utilize the cam sensor and have true sequential injection, I will use it as a stand alone.

LOL Yeah it coming its called the sequencer board its a uS with 8 injector and 8 ignition circuits full sequential. I already use the cam sensor now for sequential ignition.
