I have heard about this, I dont think I need it for a stock ride. But I am sure you could sell a hand full easy. Charlie you should stock these.

I was thinking in the 25-30 dollar range for the fitting but it could be a little cheaper i may see about doing it in brass hex instead of the aluminum hex.
Im not sure on the total length of the fitting but i will get some measurements for you so you can see if it will clear or not it will go in the far left core plug in the block or if you have enough room on the right side it could also go there.

My personal worry aND may be unjustified is the continual running of the fans with it being located into the block?
I know in heavy traffic here in Texas just on a 90* night or day it will run warm/hot. I wired my fan for auto or manual over ride yrs ago- I also know the Busa's stock rotor does dick for charging at idle situations { ie: Rush Hour Traffic }
Just some questions, I do LOVE the idea, just worried it may present more of a problem later.

Oh i hear you i just thought it would work better than cutting the rad hose and installing the tee. I agree i have mine hooked up with a override switch and my MS turns my fan on and off so i can change what temp it turns the fan off and on at. I dont even need the switch because my coolant temp sensor does it all.

Yes i can hook the fans up any way you want.
Well the water should be circulating throughout the whole block the same no difference if it is coming out of the return hose going back to the rad or being here i wouldnt think but i could be wrong.
The whole reason for moving the temp sensor in the first place is 1 because the up pipe usually hits it in the stock locating and 2 by moving it to the other side in the hose it will come on sooner helping cool the motor sooner but could possible stay on longer taking its toll on the charging system.
If i get the temp curves for the stock coolant sensor done with the MS you wouldnt even need this as you could switch the fans off and on by the stock sensor in the head but that would be on the standalone only not on the piggy back.
I will give it a go later and see how this does on a bike im in no hurry if it doesnt work oh well never hurts to try.LOL

Im portant question I didn't see asked is how does it perform it's function now? At what tempture does it turn the fan on being there. The main reason to use the fan switch relocator from 1320straightliners.com is to turn the fan on sooner by putting it on hotter water. When does your switch turn on the fan???

Dont know yet i havent even used it yet.LOL It should come on at the same time it would in the return hose like where they put it as this is the same direction of flow the water back to the rad comes out the block but it may come on a little sooner i dont know.

HEY!!!!!! Rememeber on the MicroSquirt post, Chris told me I would need a second Water Temp Sensor to run the MS as a piggy back. I said I wasn't sure of another location for another sensor. Would this solve my problem?
