Hello all,
I am trying to find out what it takes to boost a 2005 Busa motor, particularly from an engine management point of view. What I have is this:
A motor with an adjustable intake sprocket and a .080 bottom gasket spacer. A cyl head with 1 mm. oversize valves and cleaned ports. A Garrett GT-28 ball bearing turbo and S2000 injectors. I have the space to have an intercooler (it is in a car) and a PC3 USB. As far as I know the PC3 can only add fuel and not touch the timing..... is this true? I want to keep the stock ECU and would like to know what boost I can run without touching the timing.... or what options do I have.
My thinking is this. If I can build the hardware for the system and then "sneak up" on the boost as I dial things in I can then work on the management, either Megasquirt and secondaries or whatever "blackbox" magic people use to alter the stock timing.
Does anyone have any suggestions and can I get details of what electronic devices are available to me. I do not want to reinvent the wheel here but want to approach this in a logical manner. I cannot afford to blow an engine as I am tuning it.

Thanks.
