cant guarrentee anything except you will have a better understanding of the tree and et racing we are trying to get more people involved with racing as the classes dont really seem to be growing and there is a growing concern around indy that guys wanting to get into racing cant compete against drag bikes not realizing that it is a race against themselves ....................... the cost is free if you go online to the nhra website you can get a membership for 69.00 and that is all that is required ............... the class will be a 2 hour classroom on the 20th and then a quick classroom on the 27 th and then we will have our own time on the track and it will be setup like a regular points race with 2 or more practice runs and then a dial in and eliminations with a plaque awarded at the end and you will still be able to continue running throughout the night ............any more ? call me 317-716-1281...........................and that 6.90 ya that would kinda be a slow 330 time but what the heck lol   thumbs  up

i dont exactly how to answer this there will be mostly discusion on how to et race and what is involved with it but there will be discusion and technique on how to launch but i feel that will be just a basic thing from what i can teach and launching is something that is more a rider learned thing i can show you and tell you what i see and make suggestions as i will be at the starting line for all runs to see what i can see along with 1 or 2 other good racers that will be watching as well to make suggestions on how to improve your riding not saying i am ricky gadson but i have been racing since 88 and have had quite a successful racing history i won street bike class last year at raceway park it was the first year for that class there and i won 3 pro bike races last year against box bikes and came in 4th overaul last year and been to the division 3 championships and in past years have made enough money racing for it to be verry profitable

ok, i would be driving 3.5hrs to do this. if it was just teaching about the procedure to "race" and rules of bracket racing.  not worth that.  i'd be more in for a gadson/miller type class that can make me a better rider.

i understand and i can say that it will make you a better rider but to what extent depends on where you are currently and how your setup is you are more than welcome but if not i understand alot of this will depend on what your setup is on your bike some of that will be discussed also but it is going to be geared towards more of a entry level type class depending on how this goes i may do another one later in the year thanks for the interest

its going to be on a tue night test and tune so you can come out and run i will tell you though if you go faster than a 9.99 you better have a license or you wont be running they are enforcing that rule stricktly or you can just shut down after the 1000 foot mark

?

Anyone in or surrounding Indianapolis In. We are holding a drag race school for anyone interested at raceway park in indy on April 20th and 27th it is free the only requirement is a nhra membership so that you have insurance With your nhra membership you get 485000 dollars worth of medical and disability insurance

Any more ? call Jim Richson  317-716-1281

Also the track manager said he would give everyone a free spectator pass so you could come out and watch a race to see how a race actually runs and talk with all the bike guys we all get along pretty well and do some cookouts pretty good group of guys.

If you already race & just want to have a bunch of new guys to meet & run with this is also a good time. Can help new guys learn & ask questions.

Ride Safe..

According to NHRA rules, you gotta be licensed to run faster than 10.0 Whether or not the track enforces that rule that day is a different story...

no anyone that is a member of the nhra wich is a 69 dollar yearly fee gets the insurance wether you race or not and it is good during or at any nhra events or any nhra tracks ................. if you get hit by a part at the nationals your covered if you wreck your bike at a nhra race wether et or not your covered ....................... the other part of this is the license for any bikes or cars going faster than a 9.99 in the quarter or 6.39 in the 1/8 and full leathers over 125 mph this will all be explained in the class and forms will be available

What about using this class to get your passes in to get the license? Is that a possibility?

I just learned that the  IHRA track  in Osceola iIdiana is going to become an NHRA track. And Schnitz racing is going to sponsor some races...2 at Munice, 2 at Bunkerhill and 1 at Osceola Dragway also Todd Smith is working with the NHRA to get division 3 racing going.

ya todd has talked with me and has a meeting with them on monday but the problem is that the div 3 chairman could care less about bikes but i wish him good luck todd is trying hard to get some things done but without any support from the racers it isnt going to work i tried with the nhra at the national level and didnt even get a reply back and posted there email addy on the org and psycho bike and got no replies from racers so until the racers are ready to step up to the plate not much is going to change

Mr.Brown & I been posting & telling other on hayabusa.org. I think I may start on a bunch of sites. Like Kawi,Yam, Honda.. hmm HD even. really open more eyes than the we have now looking. may not get riders to the close but may get them to email in to NHRA.
