I'm building a turbo 1000 got H beam rods and turbo pistons. But my ? is Are head studs really needed for say up to 12psi boost ?

be sure to use the proper oil bypass (not blockoffs) for the 1000. the oil bypass plug does not flow enough oil for the crank. i think richard sells the bypass if you don't have it already. thumbs  up
