Ok let me look on digykey and see what i can come up with im sure it would be no problem to make a interface connector to plug straight into the microtec harness.
I would need to know the pinouts on the microtec so i could be sure it was hooked up right.
On my next order to digikey i will order some samples and see what i can come up with.

Ok i looked i can get them looks like the connector it would take it is like 1.30 and the pins are .11 a piece the connector i looked up would be like the connector on the microtec itself but for free hanging not board mount. The part number from digikey is WM3601-ND.
I can get the pins a few different ways gold plated, brass plated, ect price depends on plating.

How many pins are used on the 16 pin connector like yours?

Oh ok.LOL
Well if there is a few left over it would be easy to wire them up with some extra outputs from the MS for other stuff like shift lights ,ect

There are 6 pins used on the fuel only secondary controller
Power Ground RPM Injector 1 Injector 2 Another ground maybe...can't remember.
Should be enough to run a MS as long as no TPS or temp compensation is wanted.

Ok yeah thats plenty left over i would need to add an extra ground wire for the MS since it uses two big main grounds and the injectors can actually be tied together instead of using both injector drivers.

Maybe the extra ground could just be jumpered to the first on a "dumb" standalone. Without using the temperature sensors or TPS and only driving injectors, maybe the power consumption is low enough that multiple grounds aren't needed? Just a thought. John

Yeah thats a possibility as long as it dosent cause any ground loops in the circuit it should be fine i like to run plenty of grounds for stuff.

Nice but wont you need the female connectors instead of the male connectors to use the harness you already have for the microtec?
