i have an 06 zx14 turbo with a fuel system that makes me nervous to say the least--heres why--stock 330 cc injectors with a starting pressure of 46psi which ramps to 106psi under boost --the builder says its ok but i would like to try something better
i've heard of some bikes running 1000cc injectors(bosch)with a billet rail --if i do that ,do i get rid of my rising rate regulator? what do i replace it with?what would be the base pressure setting?
riding season is coming up--any ideas apreciated!

                                                       Thanx

i dont think the stock ecu will controll those injectors
and the ID1000 are high imp injectors and would be a better fit if flashing the ecu would allow you to remove enough fuel at idle and then you would have to go to a 1:1 regulator
but i dont know if the stock ecu will remove enough fuel to even run that big of an injector or not

i havent heard of anyone reflashing the 14's ecu --how about 750cc injectors and a power commander to control them

yes i think the 750cc injector would even be pushing it quite a bit even for just drag racing it would be a little hard to idle worth a darn if it would even start

Suggestions?  whats it gonna take to back down on my fuel pressure and still carry enough supply--
i dont like the high fuel pressure/high duty cycle of my current setup--if i lock an injector open i believe it may starve another cylinder and hole a piston --which is a major pain--
