if you aren't on a dyno you are going to melt something IMO.  don't cheap out on getting the tune right before trying to hold it wide open for several gears several passes. Have a logger on it?  If not you are playing with fire.

i also agree on vacuum line etc, that is 90% of stage 1 turbo installers issues first time around, hell a bone stock bike with IAP sensor plumbed goofy won't idle without holding throttle open and filling garage full of black smoke
