I got this wheel today from a 600, looks like it should fit right on! This would give me a more konstant signal, don´t you think? Would I need to change anything on the wheel?

That should work also it is a 24-2 tooth setup . Give it a try and see get it mounted on the crank and give me a shot of what it looks like when #1 cyl is on tdc on the compression stroke .

I think I can set it as I like! Where would you like me to mount it, when cyl.1 is in tdc?
Do I have to grind anything of this wheel?
Maybe the sensor is wired backward, how can be sure?

Ok Here is your pic you just posted of the wheel see if you can mount it so when Cyl #1 is on tdc that any tooth between 5 and 8 are lined up if it lines up with tooth 5 at tdc then you should have 60deg advance if tooth 8 lines up you should have 105deg advance . Dont pay attention to the tooth 4 i put in the pic try to get any teeth between 5 and 8 to line up with the sensor and come back and i will see what i come up with. It looks like in the documents you have to use - numbers in the offset setting for the firing deg i will read up some more on this so get it mounted and come back.

I got the wheel mounted today! Thooth number 6 is lining up with the vr sensor at cyl. #1 in TDC When the first thooth is lining up, the offset is 75deg. I don´t know where in in the 'missing theeth' spot I should messure? What is the next step?

Ok it will need to fire the processor at tooth one so you will set your offset to 75deg ( i think unless it needs - numbers then it would be -285) so set it to 24 teeth with 2 missing teeth skip pulses 4 and offset for outputs 2 at 0 (i think)
Try this and see what it does and we can go from there.

Ok I will try that!
I thought the settings would be like this: In Advanced settings:
Trigger wheeltheeth: 24 Missing theeth: 2 Skip theeth: 12 Delay theeth: 5
Base settings:
Trigger offset: 75deg Skip pulses: ?
I gues that is wrong...

Delay is 6 i think i told you 0 so set it to 6 . Skip teeth is the number of teeth it skips before it fires cylinder #1 is at top dead center at tooth 6 and the processor starts calculating at tooth 1 so there are 4 teeth in between 1 and 6 ( i think this is how it works ) like i said im not familiar with the uS except for what i have read.

Send me your MSQ and let me see what you have now . 30ms dwell is WAY to much 5.0ms max should be fine.

I dont see anything in the MSQ that would cause the problem have you posted over on the uS forum and see if Bruce or AL have any suggestions ?
You were right about the skip and delay teeth i guess .LOL
Besides the coil over charging did it sound alright to you when it was running?
I can probably set up a base timing table for you now this would be a base to start from and would need to be tuned but it should get you going in the right direction.

I still dont know why the dwell is so high you might PM Matt on here and see if he has any ideas also.

One more thing I don´t understand is, the ignition advance is 0deg, and it do not chance when I change the triggeroffset! I have tryed from 50-125deg! The advance is 0deg no matter what I do! So the engine gets wery hot! It is like the ecu don´t change the settings I make! I have tryed to uninstall megatune, and will download it again to see if that sovled the problem...

You might try reloading the firmware on the controller also just save your MSQ before you reload it and see if it does anything.
