lookin for you guys oppinion on a safe afr for a low boost street bike tune. the bike has a pc3 usd and the ignition module and is also running a full set of seconaries that are boost actuated. i was also planning on pulling a few degrees progressively from 5000rpm up to redline(in the boost range) prolly up to 8 or 9 degrees retarded at redline. what do you all think? thanks

11.8 is a good target afr on boost. 12.5 off boost, (street cruising).

No need to pull timing below 10#. If you're running more boost than that, shouldn't need to pull more than 6 degrees @ 20#.

Anything more than 15# needs race gas (C-16) IMO.

cool, thanks cory. i heard with these little zx motors i really should pull some timing to be on the safe side with the stock internals. just tryin to figure it out cause i think she is goin to the tuner tomorow night
