I have an electrical problem that I cant figure out. It just started week before last, everytime I make a pass on boost(on the street or strip) and run all the way through a couple of gears it blows the fuse to the fuel pump, not during accelleration but after I let off the bike dies and the fi light stays lit and the gauges are all froze where there were at, around 8g and 100+ on the speedo Huh? the fuse for the fuel pump will be blown. Ive tried a 15 and a 20 amp fuse. The wires that went to the factory fuel pump now goes to a relay run directly off the battery then to the bosche pump, I've had it this way for more than a year with no problems. When I put a new fuse in, with the key off, the gauges will cycle all the way right and return to 0 and the bike will start right up. Do any off you guys know what else is on the same circuit as the factory fuel pump? or any ideas what could cause this, I have gone over my entire wire harness and cant find anything that looks bad.

maybe it is a bad fuel pump relay. Not the one you put on, but the stock one. It is located on the left side near the starter solenoid.
