Does anyone use a Baxley wheel chock on an open trailer? Do you still use straps on the front or just the back?

Either/or. I used them on the rear only until I got the rear sets coated. Now I use the bars with a Canyon Dancer, but not tight enough to pull it down. It rides great.

Yep use the Baxley in my open trailer, just made my own mounts instead of paying for theirs, to mount the chock to the trailer than I just tie down the back of the bike Just run some soft loops around my underbracing on the swingarm and run straps to the front of the trailer not that tight though just enough to make sure the bike can't roll back. plus I usually put a tie wrap around the lock for the Baxley so it can't open I guess I go over board but I know the bike is safe

been hauling mine with the baxley straped down to front bar of trailer and 2 rachet straps pulling forword from the rear of bike for a couple years now just make sure your rear straps are pulling forward and youll be good....thats how baxley recomends also.

One of my better investments. I use the baxley sport chock also. I just use two tie downs from the rear to pull forward. Travel from South NJ to upstate NY. Works great, invest in the baxley after my damn bike fell over in the trailer. Now I have to go to Fla. to pick up my new trailer, Just don't want to make the drive, my wife dad said he would bring me the trailer this summer.
