I finally got my turbo project complete.  Ive been riding it and racing it .....and so far, Im happy with the results.  It doesnt overheat while Im racing or riding on the interstate.  The only issue I have is only on warm days.  When Im in light traffic, The temp goes up to just below the red.  I can hear the antifreeze boiling in the reservoir and steam comes out of the overflow hose.  i always cut it off before it overflows.  As a result, it sometimes leaves me sitting on the side of the road waiting for it to cool down.  Ive checked the coolant level and i have 2 fans with muzzy blades...one being a manual fan.  Has anyone had good results with a certain antifreeze brand, water wetter, or engine ice?

i always had best results with prestone dexcool at a 75% coolant 25% water mix

read the bottle its boiling point is 275 deg at that ratio

at 50%/50% mix it has a boiling point of about 256 deg

My setup is a stage 2 turbo with regular antifreeze 50/50 mix and 2 fans...both with muzzy blades.  I think I may have air in the system.

No a/a
stock thermostat
