No to much to update on weather has been to cold here to test but hop to in the few weeks or so.

I have been working on a new shift program for the IB for the ignition kill and air shift function and it now will do gear dependent ignition kill, so you can set the kill time for each gear i will be testing this on the bike soon.

With this program it will also not activate the air shifter solenoid while in neutral or 6th gear so if you accidentally hit the horn button ( if you use the horn for the shift input) or if it hits the auto shift set point ( if you have the output in MT set for auto shift) it will not shift into gear.

I will keep this thread updated with the results from testing on the bike.

Hopefully we can get some good testing on these this summer so i can release these for sale but i dont want too till i know for sure that they will be 1 easy to setup and install and 2 easy to understand and tune for the user and 3 reliable if they are not reliable then i wont be selling them to the public .

I also want to get a good set of base maps for both turbo and NA motors to get you guys going so far the maps i have run good but i want to do put some more miles on them to make sure they will be a good base to start from.

So if I upgraded I wouldn't be able to use my MS box I have now??

Yes you will be able to use the box you have now it will plug in to the IB and it will all fit inside the same case ( a little taller the the standard MS case but all in the same case).

So this will all fit in the stock spot where the stock ecu is  or does it have to be extended to the rear tail section

It should fit where the stock ecu is.

The case will be thicker but the over all size is the same.

Once the testing is done i will most likely sell them to you guys who already have a secondary setup for much less than the assembled unit will sell for , since i wont have to buy and build the MS board to plug in the IB board , all that will need to be done is solder some jumper wires onto he MS and plug a MS2 card into the 40 pin processor socket.

We are also going to test the 1000cc high impedance inj. for the stock throttle bodies to see how they work .

Everything is still up in the air at this time though still need lots of testing.

Yeah hopefully it will be reliable this summer who knows though i rode around 1000-1200 miles last year on mine but Greg and Jason did'nt get to ride much because of problems that arose with the boards and all the wiring so that's one of the reasons we switched to one case setup.

I want this to be as easy plug and play setup i have invested quite a lot of time and money into this to make it work but if it dosent atleast i learned alot in the process.LOL

Cant forget about Greg and Jason also they have give me some good info from there testing that has helped alot they have been patient with me on getting this stuff figured out and im grateful that they have been patient.

Hopefully with the friend who live close to me and my bike and the other few boards i have out we can get some solid testing done and go from there , im in no hurry though i would rather take things slow and make sure its good to go then hurry it up and it be full of problems.

Been messing with the IB off and on the past few weeks checking some new firmware on the MS and also some new firmware i wrote for the dash and shifter stuff everything seems to work really nice so far everything is looking real good for some riding when the weather finally warms up.

I built up another test board and went ahead, and set it up for sequential ignition , im going to test out the new full sequential fuel ,and ignition code on that board, this will allow individual cylinder fuel trims for big injectors .

I had to make a small mod to the cam sensor circuit and it revs very clean and nice all the way to the rev limiter with no loss syncs, it even starts like the stock ECU hit the button and it fires straight up with no throttle. (very nice)

Still have some more test's to run, i have some code im going to try on my buds 05-06 1000, on the shift stuff, and if it works good on it, i will integrate it into the IB .

We are also going to start working on his bike real soon, with a plug and play board, for the 05-06 1000 using the boards i have now, since the sensors are the same, it should be a easy setup to get going, and if it goes good i will make up some IB test boards for the 05-06 1000 to test on.

My other friend with the 1397 is happy so far with his box still waiting on the weather to finally break down this way though he hasn't got to ride a whole lot but what miles has got to ride he is excited about how it runs so far.

We ran into a problem with some resonators for the Micro i use for the dash, i received some defective ones, and they were giving me fits with the dash at times, sometimes it would work really good, then other times it would quit, and i would have to cycle the power to get it working again, i tried some others i had, and added a load resistor to it, and it works fantastic now i had two boards doing the same thing, and the same fixes cured both boards so im pretty confident this was the problem.

Hopefully soon me and my local friend can get some miles on them so i can order the final
version of the IB.

So far im really pleased with how these boards are working, super clean starts, and nice repeatable builds on the boards so far, they still need some circuits cleaned up here and there but over all im super pleased with the outcome up to this point, time will tell how well they do out in the real world.

A few more weeks and i should have some more info here on whats going on them hopefully its good new and not bad news .LOL

Hello?
I have a Hayabusa engine I plan to use in a car project. Similar to a Lotus 7 about 1100 Lbs wet.
I plan on using the MegaSquirt II or MicroSquirt.
Your interface seems to be what I will need to use MS II.  Do you plan to sell kit packages like MegaSquirt?
If so I would like some more information.
My Engine Code is:
Numbers on engine case between motor mounts at back of transmission.
W701-148169

020911B2911
AAAAA

24F with a small arrow pointing to about 11:00 o'clock. This number on top of trans case.

I do not have the wiring harness but I do have all the sensors.  I had planed on my own harness because the wiring lengths will not be like the bike.
I plan to turbo charge, upgrade the rods, pistons, balance and prep the crank & upgrade the clutch.  I will use manual boost control on the dash.  I would like to have reliable 250 - 300 HP.  Power / boost levels will be lower on street and autocross events.  On hill climbs I plan to use boost to make up for altitude. Please supply your preferred contact information.   Any information you can provide will be very helpful.
Thanks, Fred
