Here is a head i done over the summer but never had time to put it on and see how it works. I welded up the ex. floor to help the flow out of the port opened up the combustion chamber to help unshroud the valves and polished it and the ex port up the intake is finished with a 80 grit sanding roll i didnt open it up much just cleaned them up.

No this head is off of my original motor for my bike it had like 10000 miles on it when it took it off and everything still looked good (Guides & Valves).

I cant really recommend anything except dont worry too much about the intake ports the combustion chambers and the Ex. port is where the most work will need done. I havent run this head yet so i dont know how well it will do but on the car heads i have done this is how we do them.

Also do some reading on cylinder head porting for Turbo motors.

I have ported everything from 2 stroke cylinders to blown big cu. motors to turbo motors and they all take a different type of port for the motor your working on so do some reading and if you feel comfortable trying it then go ahead there is only one way to learn and that by trying.

Head looks GREAT.  Welding up the floors was a good idea.  I would like to get my hands on one of those heads and have bigger ex valves installed and see what that baby can really do.  Also polishing the combussion chanber was a good idea, remove all the hot spots and shinney reflects heat better than rough.  But you need to test it along side a stock head and post the differences.

PS:  NLR Made 572HP with a STOCK HEAD and STOCK CAMS, so if you're not going to be pushing past 500HP, leave your heads alone, you're not going to see anything worth while.  But you could really mess up the way your head works.

There is no comparison between Turbo and nossmiley on a bike.  I have done BOTH and TURBO is the way too go, on the street, this becomes even more obvious.

But I was looking at your AVATAR and had issue.  It can be done, but if you are starting with a 600 or 750 cc bike, best bet is to BUY a 1000 or BUSA.  For the time and money and aggrivation of a Turbo or nossmiley, you will make the same if not more power with a 1K or BUSA and no problems maintaining them.  I always tell people to stay away from a TURBO or nossmiley unless you have a 1000 or larger cc bike.  If you wanted POWER you would have gotten a bigger bike.  a 600 and 750 have one place, knee dragging or stunts, if you want power start with a large dissplacement bike first and go from there.

Unless you want to hate riding your bike.  If you want no throttle responce and huge lag times, just to make 175HP-200HP on a 600cc bike, then by all means Turbo it.  But when you start breaking parts and blowing up, just rememeber someone told you so....

When building a Turbo Bike, you should have a plan on what you want to do and what it's intended use is for.  Don't let ANYONE BS you into thinking a Turbo bike is EASY to OWN or EASY to TUNE!!!  Plan on spending HOURS upon HOURS working on this bike.  If you don't like pulling off plastic, don't go Turbo.  Unless you buy a qualityu Kit and have an expert tuner install and tune it.

Turbo is the BEST WAY TO GO!!!!  Just KNOW what you are getting yourself into....

ok good tips but I want the best of both  I dont need 200 hp on my 600 I dont like the feel of a 1,000 or a busa i guess what im trying to say is I got a great deal on my bike no need for me to go bigger if im happy with it what kind of turbo are you talking about you can match a turbo to your cc to get a good set up might want to go a little bigger just so its not too snappy thats my opinion but opinions are like assholes everyone has one
