so as i posted b4 the site crashed i was having problems clearing the tire and the turbo, and i was wondering if i take it to a shop to heat it up and bend it back a little bit would that work
heres the pix by the way
i heard from ppl that their turbo was closer than that or they have seen closer, and i was just worried

I wouldnt go heating the header up and bending it you might end up kinking or cracking the header .If it was me i would cut the turbo flange and angle it back a hair and re tig it back on to get plenty of clearance.

Did you try loosening the bolts and tightening the lower ones first?

How much is the bike lowered?

Also the 12/60/17 tire will gain quite a bit of clearance on the turbo i did a 05 1000 and we thought it was going to hit but after we put the shinko on it has been just fine for 5000 miles so far.

Be aware if you change the turbo position associated up pipes & exhaust will need to be changed too.

Is it me or is that turbo way too low?  How is that setup NOT going to smoke?!?!?!?!  The oil return line looks level with ground.  The turbo looks lower than oil level....  Do you guys see what I see?
