the turbo i got is the hahns, it was used to race with, a 12 pd spring, my question is do you think the turbo was modifed also to where it will not run good on a street bike, the reason i ask is it takes 10k plus to make any boost, the blow off hits evernow and then at that rpms, im running a small blue 8 pd in the wastegate, tried a small red, same problem. no boost. so either i have what too big a turbo or  ? if its too big can i resize it down

its not too big
you have a boost leak of some kind
recheck all parts

check to make sure the TB's didnt pull up
also plenum to TB connection could have pulled free to
all connections have to be tight real tight
plus you might have to add plenum straps

Yeah you have a major leak or something is wrong with the wastegate or turbo.

Make sure the wastegate is actually sealing and also make sure the turbin a compressor wheels are not missing any fins.

That turbo should spool quick.

are you talking about where the wastegate bolts up for leaks ?
its a good possiblility that theres a leak somewhere around those pesky seals on the throttle body.

Where the valve seat goes in make sure its not installed backwards and make sure its even in there you have a massive leak if it wont even build any boost till 10,000.
