I put in 2 or 3 hours for the last 3 days after work and here is where I an as of tonight........

The turbo appeared to be way up but once I put the laser on it I relized how much the engine is leaning forward and that causes the oil level to be realy high in the front.. notive the pic of the turbo in relationship to the oil level bullseye and the laser line......sucks

THE END

Yep, I'd be the same way.

It'd be nice if I could make the money I do working on cars, working on bikes.

What turbo is that? What else are you doing for a setup, Megasquirt, PCIII, water/meth, oil cooler, wideband? I'm boostin my '05 R6, so I've got a lot of questions for anyone boostin a 600cc. My intake plenum just got finished so I am waiting to get that in my my hands and get some pics up.

The plan is to keep the boost down around 5 or 6 psi. being that low I think I will try the 1.1 aeromotive regulator with a larger pump intank, bring the base fuel pressure up a little and take some fuel out with the pc3 at lower rpms. if needed I have a vorteck fmu. I believe the 1.1 reg will be enough for that low of boost,, I look at it like this....I have seen several 600's with nossmiley on them and they are using nothing more than a pc3,,,,so with the larger pump and the 1.1 reg it should be about the same final result. If I was going to try and boost it up higher I would diffenetly go with FMU or secondary injectoers...but the bike is stock evrything so 5 to 6 psi will be the limit.

If you need any more pics or want to talk call me at 1-985-414-3187 Kerry

The turbo is a K04 same as the K03 just a hair bigger on the comp wheel. I think they are used on Audi's should meet my goal and spool pretty fast

Thanks Man...my skills are half ass at best....I probably could do a better job ...if I took my time but I like to try and build a kit from scratch in about two days......I'm a little demanding when it comes to time....

Keep me up to date on your build.

Where the hell has Pinky been...he gave me enough shit to come to the site and then ...nothing ... not even a hello.....is he in the hospital?Huh??

Any updates? I should be getting my intake manifold this weekend and I'll post up a pic if I'm happy with it.

What are you doing as far as gearing? I was thinking about going +1 in the front, a 530 kit with hardened sprockets. I remember my '03 R6 was a wheelie monster even with stock gearing (ended up going +3 in the rear, 520 conversion). I want to be able to keep the front wheel on the ground, but not sacrifice acceleration while not under boost (since I don't know what RPM's boost will kick in yet).
