2001 Hayabusa Megasquirt

I am in the process of stripping down my busa to prep the engine for turbo, and I have descided that the Megasquirt may be the way to go.  My question is what all would be needed to use the stock wiring harness on my bike and what all do I need to get it and going as a stand alone unit. Any help is appreciated.

Yes read through those threads.   You can run the motor with out using the Interface board ,but you would need a VR conditioner board (atleast 1 Vr conditioner if you use the 3.0 board or 2 if you use the 2.2 board) to condition the crank and cam signals from the busa this will get the motor going now if you wanted to run secondaries for a turbo then you you can do it with one processor using staged injection and using the injector circuit 2 for this but i use a dual processor board to do this so i can run twin processor at the same time one to do the main motor stuff and the other "slave" to do the secondary stuff.

There are a ton of ways to set it up its up to you to decide what you want to do and it is best to think ahead and plan for any future stuff you might want so you only have to do this once .

I have a few Beta boards left BUT im not going to let anymore get out till it is sorted out and on a running driving bike (its close but not there yet) once it is to the running and driving stage i would be willing to let you purchase one if you want or you could go the other route with the add on daughter cards and get it running but the stock harness will not work with out alot of hacking.

I appreciate your replys, Im going to look into this a bit deeper, but from the looks of it the megasquirt is for sure the route I want to take.
and I would prefer to not hack up the harness if I all I need to do is wait for your beta's to get ironed out, so put one aside for me, like I said I am gonna try and plan this out so the surprises are minimal, or as minimal as possible.

No problem i will try to keep the I/B section updated with any info on when its done and your more than welcome to try one out when im ready to send out some more.
