Tony's creation, i am lucky enough to be working on it with him and doing some testing.

will do the 1N23455 mod, or TRE if you prefer that
6 gear based outputs for boost controller
7 segment or 6 LED (my old style) gear indicator

gotta make a pretty housing, this one looks terrible LOL

VIDEO
www.boostbysmith.com/Videos/gbc1.wmv

Great day today!  Tony verified on an 07 GSXR1000 with factory gear indicator that we are in fact outputing the proper values to the ECU for everything but 6th gear, we send out 5th so NO RESTRICTION HEHE!

Quick video and its hard to tell whats going on, but i have boost control solenoids hooked up to 3 of the 6 gear outputs, i actually have it so:

1st gear no boost added
2nd gear gets 1st solenoid with bleed valve (the one with an air line going to it)
3rd gear gets 2nd solenoid with bleed valve
4th - 6th all output to the 3rd solenoid.

They switch from one to the other so quickly in the software (not manually changing gears for the demo here just cycling through gears in software) that its hard to tell when they come on / off etc.

But ITS WORKING!!!!!!  No more gps mods for me LOL

Billet Housing is in the works and hopefully available soon for the gear indicator, will be smaller than this one in the video, should be a neat setup.

DID I SAY PLUG AND PLAY BEFORE?Huh?Huh??

LOL, sorry Im excited!

Greg

The IB has 3 of the same processors on it already if you wanted to use one of those to display the gear your in plus ther IB also has the mosfets to switch the soleniods on and off so you really dont need one of these standalone GPS boards since youalready have what you need now now if you wanted to run your MS as a secondary then you might want one of these boards just talk to Greg if you want one and he will set you up  .

In fact the processor on the IB that does the ignition kill will run the display also and i already have firmware done for it but it wont drive solenoids as all the pins are used up for the kill and display there are a few different ways we could do it with what you already have if yo like.  thumbs  up

thumbs  up Throw the word "Aerospace" in there and you will sell more....

(Not that 6061 is used in the real aerospace world that much, but still should work for marketing)
