Finally painted my 1000, figured I will share a few pics with you guys.  Atticdog and I will wet sand and buff it very soon, then I will post some nice clean pics.




In case you are wondering what that is, I'll tell you.  On a 2004 1K the water res. bottle faces the front on the right side, if fits around the front of the radiator.  But I have a heat exchanger for my water/air intercooler there, so I had to flip the bottle around, as there is really no where else on the bike the bottle will fit.  But this requires cutting a large portion of the fairing out.  So I made a mold out of metal screen, laid fiberglass into it.  Usefd a second layer on the outside and finally used body filler to smooth it out.

Well there is a difference between some squid who can afford to put nossmiley on a 1000 and someone like me who actually knows what he is doing.  Of course my 1000 wheelies, 310HP will do that to you at 175mph.  But when you ride 600+HP bikes, you know what you are doing and know how too ride.

This bike is not for drag racing, it's meant for knee dragging.  This bike is riden and hard!!!!

What could possibly be the point of nossmiley on a stock length 1000???  Maybe to say he has it.........LOL


I ride with 10PSI in every gear simply because I love coming out of an Exit on the highway in 1st gear, spinning the back tire and riding a wheelie sideways with the back tire spinning.  Or riding a wheelie at 175-200MPH.  That's how I ride....

So it's not a problem of power, it's a matter of SKILL!!!!!  Oh yeah, that and a BIG BOV, so I can get the nose down in a hurry, when I need to!!!!!  One more thing, you should tell that guy that on bikes near your right foot is a small peddle and if you even tap it in a wheelie the bike comes back down.....LOL

Sorry I don't mean to laugh, your story just reminds me of that poser Rich Christianson from PINKS wiping out on a 1000..............LOL  Hope he's not hurt..

He's a fucking joke.  He has no idea about drag racing or anything else he is talking about.  It's actually ashame that someone with no drag racing experience is head of such a show.  But thisd is the USA where any idiot can get on TV and the rest of the country will follow him as if he has a clue...

I could go on all day long why I hate that guy...........  but not worth my time.....

These are a couple old pics, my 2 busas have new turbo kits, motors, everything and are in the process of being built as we speak.  Here are pics of 3 of the BUSAs I have owned, the first BUSA the 2001, I no longer own, but it was my first BUSA!!!!
