I know this is an old topic but,

I have a stage two kit (Velocity) on a Busa. When ever I crack the throttle hard the F1 Light comes on. I hate it.

Can you explain the check Valve deal. I guess I can start with that.

Oh yeah, it has secondaries.

the map shouldnt see boost
this is what the check valves are for
they bleed the boost off allowing the map sensor not to see the boost

the bike might do it if you use an airshifter also
but with secondaries it shouldn't do it if setup right

If you bridge the terminals on the white plug with black rubber cap in the lrft front hump or left rear seat area you will get the fault code, then its easier to diagnose the fault , but this only works while the bike is running so you need to bridge the terminals, then induce the prob and read the code before switching off.

My stage 1 throws the light everytime I get on the throttle. I've got 2 check valves after the map.

Maybe the F1 Light coming on means nothing, but when mine comes on it just rips through my SPINE  Shocked. I can't explain it.

No, no, no.
Everything is OK. The MAP sensor is only supposed to see vacuum. If it see's any positive pressure (boost), it throws the light. Suzuki did not design it with us turbo guys in mind, how rude of them! Cheesy

Not yet. I just got my rear suspension set up yesterday. It feels real nice. Plus,  I've got some goodies on the way that I would like to get those installed before I make my next trip.

I like messing with gadgets as much as I like racing! Cheesy

Mike take OZ advice and check to see what the code reads.Very easy to do.
MPS shifters have been known to trip the FI code also.

it depends on what is causing the issue (fi light)
if it is doing it while setting in the garage then i dont think its the map sensor seeing boost
