I'll soon be running a water pump for my water to air intercooler.  I will be using one of greg smiths plug and play harness's.  Is there any reason to add a fuse before the pump?  Will wiring it to the euro connector on the bike draw to much power?  It's a bosch pump used for intercoolers on ford lightnings and cobras.  I also have an upgraded stator and rectifier.  Thanks for any tips or help. thumbs  up

Yes, I run the lightning cobra pump.  I ran it off a relay on the battery.  I also sent my stator off the ricks motorsports electrics for an upgrade.http://www.ricksmotorsportelectrics.com/press/2007-03-06High_Output_Hayabusa_Kit.pdf  Not sure if it would have drained the battery with out it, but I've had no charging or battery draining problems so far. thumbs  up

I usually run the waterpumps off the std fuel pump wire so it will time out if working on the bike with ign on, the same wire is used to trigger a relay for the bigger fuel pump.i have either the Davies Craig pump or an Audi pump, both similar specs to the RCC  but with plastic pump end not billet

Not at the moment, but the busa has its pump on the left side of the cyl block , sitting on the aternator cover , been going to make a bracket ... one day  Smiley...previously had it next to the plenum (too high and can cavitate if there's any air in the system.).and another time under the fuel rail lined up with the startermotor
750 has it on the left inner frame rail, less space available on the side of the engine than a busa.
Another i setup had a inline pump on the right side of the engine but i don't like that pump and will replace it...
