I just got up close and personal for the first time with a 2008 BUSA!!!! What can I say, I LOVE THIS BIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OK, I will admit, I was overstating how nice I really thought the new BUSA was from the online pics I saw and seeing them driving by on the street (which is the only way I have seen them). Mainly for pride of our baby's namesake and not to hurt anyones feelings....
But seeing one up close, FUCKING WOW!!!!!!!!! What's better, sitting on it, close your eyes and you just feel at home. You are sitting on a BUSA and you know it, that made me extremely happy!!!!! But the pics online don't do this baby ANY JUSTICE!!!!!! Every little piece of plastic is now much more attractive and of a much higher quality look. The gauges are amazing. I love everything about this bike!!!!! If it was a woman I would have propose right there and then!!!!!
We where about to go on a 1 hour ride to a bike night w/ 1000 bikes and we where late. So my friend Gary (President of LOD Leign of Doom M.C. Massachusetts Chapter) asks me if I wanted to take it for a ride...... MAN!!!! BUT WE WHERE ALREADY LATE!!!!!!! He says just take it for a ride on the street in front of his house.... Like that would have satisfied me, so I opted to wait until I could really ride it. I am going to ride that bitch like I stole her, I need some time with her. Plus all my bikes are turboed now and a modded BUSA feels like a 600 with 2 spark plugs removed to me now. So riding it on a 1/8 stretch of road, which includes the Norton POLICE Station was not something I even wanted to bother with. So before I get criticized for not riding it, I had good reasons.
These pics are so funny. I couldn't stop looking at the bike, Gary had to yell at me too look at him so he could take the pictures. You can see me laughing because of what he said to me in the 2nd picture.
Later that night was the worst experience I have ever had on a motorcycle...... I will name that post "OMG......"
