This is my first post and I was directed here by a fellow turbo owner. For the 08 Busa I plan on soon purchasing a RCC stage 1 kit and purchasing the secondary system from (GSXRturbo) (I guess this will make it a stage 2?). I've heard that the 08 busa only takes 4# of boost and makes around 220HP at that. I also understand that if you install stainless steel valves, heavy duty valve springs, and a base spacer you can run higher boost. I'm going to purchase the secondaries even if I only run 4# for the time being but I would like to know what kind of boost levels you can safely run with the 3 internal upgrades I listed. My goal would be 300HP but I don't know if that is attainable on stock pistons and rods and it still be a daily driver that is reliable. Im still open to the option of building a turbo gen 1 instead since I feel it is a much more proven setup. I JUST WANT THE MOST HORSEPOWER I CAN POSSIBLE HAVE ON THE STREET WITH PUMP FUEL. I am fairly sure since I have never been on a turbo bike that 230Hp would be plenty but I'm not foolish enough to think I wouldn't want more so I prefer to do it all at once. I just had a friend that had a stage 2 built by Jay Stedman on a gen 1 busa that made 330HP and it is giving him shit fits. Its actually at another shop trying to get tuned as we speak. I don't wont to be dealing with all that I want it built and tuned right the first time. Bike will be ripped on the street and interstate(maybe I even need an air to water intercooler i've been told cause I like to run it up pretty good), will never see the track. Im located in MS and I have a good motor builder near me but as far as the tune goes I don't know who to trust with my bike. Thanks for any advice you guys have and its good to be on the board

I know exactly where that is. I don't do any drag racing but Chuck Wilbourn who owns Tupelo Performance is located near me and I know he takes some trips down your way. Thanks for the welcome

You will need to run a spacer and pistons and the options really open up for you.  But without and intercooler & spacer/pistons #4 is all u can run.
