Factory ECU modifications

Well guys, I have been reading quite a bit the past few days and I think I am going to tackle the factory ECU re-flashing that Petrik and his crew are doing. Just need to get a few spare ECU's to have on hand before I get the balls to erase one and re-flash.
If nothing else, the RPM limits and 6th gear limits can be modified to prevent fuel starvation on turbo or nitrous bikes, basically eliminating the fuel cut on the outer cylinders and just using an ignition drop for the limiters. Should be no problem to raise the limiter a few hundred as well for bikes that can benefit (like a 1397 with big head and cams that is still climbing at 10,700)

Well,
Looks like I have an ECU on its way and the parts to make an interface box. Unfortunately i am in Rolla MS right now on travel. Might be there on friday so i can build it this weekend. Of course, i won't be able to go to the track next week because i need to travel to Detroit Mid Week....
Tiime to start traveling less and racing more!
