I just got a notice in the mail that NC no longer requires a sticker on your vehicle. It will now be coincided with your yearly registration :banghead:I've never had an inspection sticker on my turbo bike and I'm not sure it would pass. My horn button is my air shifter, will it pass emmisions[f@%* if I know]. I ride this bike on the street almost 100% of the time... I have a feeling one cannot recieve a tag without passing an inspection banghead...ANY SUGGESTIONS

Either wire it temporary to the horn or find someone with the wiring diagram and set up a relay on a toggle switch on way for horn and other way to shifter, emmisions that will be the tough part

Thats a great idea. I wonder if I turned my static fuel pressure way down and let them stick the sniffer up the pipe it would pass emissions?

I didnt know they checked emmisions on bikes anywhere.
Not gonna get far with ANY bike if they do.
Tell you the truth the only emmision controlled bike i know of is California bikes.

 Huh?

Ok update...checked with my friend today at the station where I get gas and he told me they don't check emisions on motorcycles. Only lights horn etc. So he told me to tape a bicycle horn to my bike and as long as he heard it he would pass it...lol
