ok guys we figured it out. we jumped a tooth on the cams when we went to start it. i guess ya have a touch of chain slack when ya go to start it after having the tensioner and all out  Undecided so when the starter kicked back in the beginning it jumped a tooth. we good to go now......she purring like a kitten Wink

Don't feel bad, I did same basic thing.  But I totally built a motor and install a new turbo kit and used a set of cams that someone else installed the sprokets on.  Long story short timing was off and the motor turned over like you described, I was going to say CAM TIMING when you said it turned over quickly.

I am sure PINKY remembers when this happened too me and I was freaking out.......LOL
