Hi
I'm new to turbo's, but old to bikes.
new here too.
I am building a zx14 turbo, its an ATP kit with the GT30r, and external wastegate.
I am hoping to make 500RWHP, but it has become apparent the fuel system is insufficient.
I have built the motor and do not wish to go into the details of it here.
I have bought RCC550 injectors, which should get me in the realm of 500 hp at about 95 psi.
I need to upgrade to a larger fuel system though, an6 minimum.
Other than SPA, does anyone else make a variable ratio regulator?
SPA makes a variable ratio up to 18:1 boost referenced regulator.

I am thinking 40 psi base will allow good drivability, and decent throttle response for cruising around the streets, with a mild tune in the boost controller, while 100 psi will be able to feed the beast within.
Base of 40 psi
1:2 ratio and 30 psi boost = 60 psi fuel
40 base + 60 = 100psi

Is there a better way to go?
I don't know of anyonme making a secondary fuel rail for the 14.
What to control it with the stock ecu?

I want to ride it on the streets on pump for 300HP, and take it to the track with C-16 and run the snot out of it too.
I need a flexable fuel system,
with a base set at reasonable levels.

Thanks,
Lyle

Next questions will be sizing wastegates and blow off valves... I think they might be too small too.

You could use a BEGI  or RCC FMU, but for the hp your after i think you would be better finding a way to put secondary injectors in and using a MS like the guys here are producing or a microtech lt2 ,4  or 10 (lt10 can have the 3bar upgrade, 2 & 4 no longer have this option available) to drive the secondary injectors and leave the std system as it is .
still will need a bigger pump like a bosch 044 and a good 1:1 boost referenced reg like an aeromotive.
No point only half doing a fuel system when you want big hp..

The zx14 has the airbox built into the frame.
Running a 2nd rail will be difficult.. I guess I will run the system i have discribed, and upgrade later then.
Unless there is a simple way to instal a 5th injector on the up pipe or something....

if there is any room under the tank cover (or tank whatever it is)
i feel i could design a secondaries system that would work it would be a very low profile system
just let me know and we could work something out (i design things for a living and am a tool maker)

I am in Canada... western Canada.
The frame plates are recesssed above the velocity stacks, and battery access is in the frame like a zx12. My battery will be moved and that big space in the frame is also available as necessary.
I would ahve to get back to you next week with clearances on the side of the frame and plastic, but there is some clearance for hoses or small brackets there too.
I have a really good fabricator available for welding as necessary, he might even be able to make me a specific fuel rail if someone with the background, and knowledge can assist with direction in the fab.
There is only about 1/2" between the frame and the tank, and the plates are recessed about 1.5 inches in the center.
Many boosted guys are making better plates for sealing, and flow.
here are some pics..+

I would be very interested in any idea's and working with you.
I might be able to find a zx14 owner closer to you willing.
I am well known on the 14 boards.

here is one of it before the turbo... on nos....

Thanks guys!

Lyle

Never did consider it before but would consider it.
I know my fab guy could build it up and a plates strong enough.
I am out of town till next week for more pics.
