can you briefly explain the tuning process?

'till the vid gets posted...

You'll plug in the palm pilot to the MS, open up the palm log software, start logging, ride the bike, transfer the log to a computer.
On the computer, you can import that log into the VE analyser and it will make changes to your fuel map, given your preset AFR's, or you can make the changes yourself in Megatune. Plug the computer into the MS and upload the new MSQ (fuel table/settings) to the bike and start all over.
 Couldn't be easier.

So it more or less tunes itself.  Sounds nice.

I understand for table from bike to computer you'll be using the palm. But after you adjust the tables using either the manual adjust or the VE analyser can you upload the corrected map to the palm and then "burn" it to MS ?

Other wise you would need a REALLY LONG cord. Or an external power source (9v batt like PCIII) to transport to the computer. (for those w/out laptops)

That is the main reason I got a laptop with a serial port  so I wouldn't have to deal with that

find them on ebay or see if a friend has a old one  you can get  that is what I did

Yep no way to upload a file from the palm and i wouldnt do it if you could too many ways to screw something up .

You can find a cheap laptop on ebay to do what you need you need at least windows 98 to run MT MLV will take a fairly quick running computer but for just loading MSQs and manually tuning fuel tables a slow laptop will work fine.
