it will disrupt the flow to the TB's

Hey DAT welcome  Grin  Its nice to have another boosted 14 in the group  thumbs  up My turbo kit uses the stock filter set-up, but I'm running a BMC race. My kit was designed to stay completely under the bodywork, and blow through the stock filter location. It dynoed the same hp as a kit with a filter on the turbo inlet, there doesn't seem to be any power restrictions. I'm just going to run a K&N outerwears over the turbo itself and let my BMC race in the airbox do the filtering. Its kinda nice having a turbo completely under the bodywork with a meg exhaust. No dragging/exposed filters, and nobody can tell you're turbo'd until you boost up  laughing7

I'm running a Cycle-Logic kit with an IHI VF-22 turbo, internal wastegate with 8psi spring. It has a full exhaust (meg style) that ends just past the right front footpeg. Its a stealth kit, the only thing that gives it away is the turbo whine  laughing7 I'm still installing it.......can't wait to take it for the first spring ride  thumbs  up Dave, the owner of Cycle-Logic is one of the best guys I have ever dealt with......super honest, a man of his word, and great pricing. Just in case you need any turbo parts or a sweet lock up clutch  Wink I'm also going to run stock height/wheelbase with one tooth up in back at first..........if thats too much too handle I'm going to back the boost down. I want to keep stock wheelbase height, and just run the power level that works with that combo. I'm not a drag racer, just a canyon carver/street rider/high speed roll-on kinda guy. The only thing I might do is minimal extension with bolt-ons if I can't keep the front down at all lol

I can say you may as well call and get your extentions now, cause there's no way the front wheel is staying on the ground when you grab any throttle at all, when it hits boost the front wheel flys plain and simple, if you try it with no extentions you will not be able to get after it, no matter how good you are rideing wheelies thumbs  up

Thats starting to sound like my kinda fun  laughing7 I suppose I should just go ahead and order the extensions tho.........you're right, I'm sticking my head in the sand here  laughing7  BTW Dave are running any ignition retard on your set-up. I've been told that stock timings fine with my set-up as long as I run good gas and don't do any extended wot without race gas.
