is there a way to test a wastegate to see if it still works Huh?
it came with the Mr Turbo kit

Go and get a vacuum pump from your local parts store should be a hand pump with a gauge. Hook it up to the port you see and at 10psi or what ever spring you have in there it should open the valve. If your running a boost controller you can hook it up to the other side of the boost controller and test from there to see what psi it will open up at.

You should be able to hear the leak if its not working. If this is a new part send it back but if not those allen head bolts you can see in the photo should have orings a grooves inside and one of those might be leaking. You can also get those from a performance parts storejust have to take the wastegate down with you.
